INTRODUCTION

Starting a Youtube channel is one of the easiest things that you can do. All you need to have is a Google account. Don’t worry, I will explain everything on my Free Guide.

So why would you need a Youtube channel? In short terms there are over 5 billion video views per day.

There are many successful channel owners, such as Felix Kjellberg (aka PewDiePie) who earned over 12 million dollars in 2015 by creating gaming walk through videos; Roman Atwood who earned $2.5 million by uploading prank videos; Michelle Phan who earned $3 million by creating videos about makeup and hairstyles; Lindsie Stirling who earned $ 6 million by uploading videos of her playing the violin and so on.

You can achieve success too, not on the same scale as them on the first month, if you have a creative mind. Remember, there are over 5 billion video views each day!!

PROS/CONS

PROS

  • Possibility to earn a lot of money;
  • Possibility to earn passive income;
  • It is a fun job;
  • Worldwide;
  • It can expose your company to the whole world;
  • Can work from home.

CONS

  • It is  a long-term investment. It will take time for you to get subscribers.
  • You will need to learn how to use video editors.

WHO IT IS FOR

For Newbie – Expert. Especially for:

  • everyone who loves to create videos;
  • everyone who is not camera shy;
  • everyone who wants to earn money by doing a fun activity;
  • people who like to talk in front of a camera;
  • people that want to expose their business.

All you need in order to begin is a video editor software(there are lots of free video editors), a camera and some imagination.  For those who are saying that you need a large investment, I’ll let you know that there is a guy out there who is making money by throwing eggs at stuff. He usually has over 2 million views per video. It is all about your creativity!

Do not worry if you are camera shy. There are a lot of people that make different tutorials on the internet and they only use a screen recorder. Therefore, they never appear on the video. You can start by doing those type of videos and when you gain more trust in yourself, you can create videos in which you appear.

EARNING POTENTIAL

This is a pretty sensitive subject. There isn’t a gap on how much you earn. However, if we assume that Felix(PewDiePie) is the richest Youtube user, than his income on 2016 is $15 million. A Youtube channel is very similar to an online business. You will earn as much as you invest in it.

FASTEST WAY TO EARN

The fastest way to earn money is to create high quality content, to create social media accounts and to invest money in ads. Otherwise, the only thing you can do is to engage the trends and hope that with time you will get more and more exposed to the world.

PAYMENT

In order for you to get paid for your videos, you will need to monetize your channel. This will be briefly discussed in the Guide.

  1. Great post. I recently started a channel but only so I can add videos to my site. Did not consider approaching Youtube it’s self as a possible income opportunity. Will seriously have to work on my videos though.

    Thanks.

    1. Hi, Jean!

      Well, a good Entrepreneur tries to figure out all the possible sources of income. Choosing to ignore Youtube which has billions of video views per day might be a rookie mistake. Make sure to go through the whole Youtube channel guide. Today, I will post the 3rd page of this guide :)!
