In today’s post I am going to show you how to create pages in WordPress in less than 1 minute. The only reason I am doing this is because I was once like you and I didn’t knew anything in WordPress.
It is a very simple process and if you have 5 minutes, 4 to read this post and 1 to apply what I show you, you should be done.
Without wasting any time, let’s begin:
The first thing you want to do is to get to your WordPress Dashboard.
Once you are here you have two methods. First, as in the image above, is to go to the top menu, hover your mouse over the “+New” feature and click on Page. Second method is to go the left menu, hover your mouse over Pages and click Add New.
Step 2) Writing content
Once you chose one of those two methods and clicked on Add New, a new blank page should be opened. Here you have to write your content. In case that you don’t know what to write, take a look at my Quality Content page. There I provide quality content tips and I also share with you a few tricks that you can use to come up with new content.
After you have created your post, go to the right side of the screen and click on the blue “Publish” button
That’s pretty much all. However, if you want, you can add a Parent to your page or make it as a Parent. For example, if your page is about “hiking shoes” you can add it as a sub parent page to another page that is “shoes”.
The “Set featured image” allows you to add a thumbnail image to your post. That way, when you will share it on Facebook or other social media networks, that image will show up.
