Starting to doubt yourselves? Is creating an online business really for you?
Starting an online business when you know nothing about it is pretty hard. It gets even harder when you don’t have anyone to support your “craziness”.
The most important thing that you need to understand is that you will step into something new. You will step into something in which you have no knowledge about. However, some of you expect to have quick results.
Doing something new and having quick results is never going to happen. It is like you want to become a certified doctor or some stuff like Programmer. The first thing you want to do is to be patient with yourself, to relax and to read and learn.
You’re not supposed to learn everything in 1 month or 2 months or 1 year. I am still learning new things every day and right now I have 1 year and almost 2 months since I started.
There are a lot of things you need to learn. However, you should never rush through them. For a newbie, every piece of information would not seem so important. However, someone with a trained eye could understand the value of the training.
What you need to understand is what you are actually trying to accomplish here. You are building a business. It doesn’t matter if online or in real world. Online, is even better because you don’t have to rent space for your company’ headquarter.
Don’t think for a moment that all you have to do is to create god damn content on a blog and wait. You need to adapt. You need to spy on your competition every week, to review the latest products, to get in touch with people that create the product, to get in touch to famous bloggers or websites within your nice. To increase your social media authority. To create content so good that people will start and come back to your website. Content so great that will take people from page A to page B and then to page C and finally to page D where they will decide to buy the service that you promote. To create a god damn newsletter and to do e-mail marketing.
If you think that this is simple, you are very wrong.
However, it is not impossible. You should never give up on anything because right now it seems impossible for you to learn to do it.
Just remember that the real goal here is to develop your website and to earn so much money that you can afford for yourself and for your loved ones to not work a day in your lives anymore.
I think that you should put all the effort in achieving this goal.
If you still believe that this is a scam and that people never earn money online, then I’ll tell you that there are millions of people who earn lots of money from doing various stuff online. Either through affiliate marketing, referral marketing, drop shipping, developing and selling virtual products and so on.
Look, recently I decided to prove myself that I can do anything that I want. For me, programming was one of the biggest mysteries in life.
I hated programming for as long as I could remember. I never liked it. I was in a poor high school, where at every IT class we’ve played Counter Strike. No one gave a crap about us, because they were all thinking that we won’t accomplish anything in our lives.
In college, I’ve done the same. I never learned anything in programming. Nothing at all.
My ex was usually mocking me because she was at a BSc in Computer Science and she always felt superior that she knew programming and I sucked so much at it.
However, I’ve decided that if I really think that I can accomplish anything that I set my mind to it in my life, then why should I stop at building an online business.
Let’s go for something harder. Let’s go for programming. Therefore, I applied and got accepted somehow at the second IT university from my city, which is the capital of the country actually, at an MSc in Computer Science… Lol. Here’s the full story on that.
So, a month ago I’ve started to learn programming. Right now, I’m doing quite ok… I even had a few IT interviews and attended to 2-3 conferences within the industry. I’ve started by learning C from Youtube. Yes, really. I’ve learnt it from Youtube. Right now, I’ve moved to C++ and I solve every exercise that I can find online. I try to prepare myself to get into JAVA in 1-2 months from now.
However, this is not the end. At just 1 month after deciding to learn something that seemed IMPOSSIBLE for me, Google&Udacity decided to grant me a fkin SCHOLARSHIP.
Usually, the price for the last 6 more months would be around $200 per month. This I will get it for free!
Guess what, tomorrow I will even have another interview from IT.
Once again, I hated IT my entire life. Before joining the MSc, I didn’t even know how to open the program to write lines of codes in it…
For me, to do IT was seen as impossible, Me, having an online business? Seemed impossible.
Look at me now.
If you’re going to respect something from my website let it be this:
- “Never, but never allow anyone to tell you what you can and what you can’t do. Just believe in yourself”.
If you still have doubts in yourselves guys contact me. I never had anyone to support my craziness, but I am willing to be there for you!
